Remote borrowers · rental customers · fleet drivers
A complete vehicle inspection, from a link on their phone.
Collect a consistent condition record wherever the vehicle is. Your borrower, customer or driver opens a secure link in their phone's browser, with nothing to install.
Send an inspection link
Create it in your dashboard or through your existing system. Choose the required views and whether a signature is needed.
Guide each photo as it is taken
Capture exterior views, cabin photos, the odometer and damage close-ups. Unusable photos prompt a retake; visible damage is kept for review.
Review the finished condition record
Your team gets the photos, findings, signature when requested, and a PDF report. API and webhooks bring the results back into your workflow.
Guided inspection links and vehicle appraisals are separate workflows. Contact us to scope your inspection views, review rules and pricing.

Vehicle handoff inspections
Document condition every time a vehicle changes hands. The driver follows a guided link, each photo is checked on the spot, and a Pickup is compared with its Delivery.
$0.50USD
per completed inspection
Up to 15 retained photos included.
No setup fee. No monthly minimum.
| Completed inspections each month | Up to 15 photos |
|---|---|
| First 1,000 | $0.50 |
| Next 4,000 (1,001 to 5,000) | $0.40 |
| Above 5,000 | $0.35 |
Each monthly volume rate covers only the inspections within its band. Additional retained photos cost $0.03 each beyond 15, up to 30 total.
Photo allowance: Count the photos retained in the completed inspection, including damage close-ups. Interior, exterior, VIN and odometer photos share one allowance. A replacement or retake does not add another photo. Agree the required views and maximum photo count before capture. Optional photos the person adds count toward the total and any overage, up to the maximum you configure; the standard template never exceeds 15. The borrower does not choose a paid upgrade. More than 30 photos requires a custom scope.
What counts: Each completed Delivery, Pickup or standalone inspection counts as one inspection, whether its outcome is clear or flagged for review. A loan or rental with both a Delivery and a Pickup counts as two. Links that expire or are never submitted are not charged.
Not charged again: The first 15 retained photos, retakes, report downloads, and webhook redeliveries are included in the inspection price. Additional retained photos cost $0.03 each, up to 30 total. Replaced or removed photos do not add to the retained-photo count. Inspection photos are never billed again as single-photo API checks.
Production access is arranged with sales. Larger deployments can discuss custom terms. Detailed vehicle appraisals and the single-photo API are separate products with their own prices. See how handoff inspections work.
The Vehicle Inspection Problem
Common challenges teams face without automated verification
Undetected Pre-Existing Damage
Drivers skip walk-arounds or miss minor damage. When a new scratch appears, there's no baseline to prove who caused it.
Costly Damage Disputes
Without consistent documentation, rental and fleet operators lose thousands in unattributable damage repairs every month.
Slow Insurance Claims
Adjusters wait days for photos that are often incomplete, blurry, or taken from unhelpful angles, delaying claims resolution.
Inconsistent Inspections
Human inspectors apply different standards—one flags a small scratch while another ignores a dent. There's no objective baseline.
High Labor Costs
Dedicated inspection staff at rental lots and fleet depots add significant overhead, especially across multiple locations.
Fraud Vulnerability
Without timestamped, verified damage records, operators are vulnerable to staged damage claims and fraudulent repair bills.
How It Works
Guided Photo Capture
The driver or renter follows on-screen prompts to photograph the vehicle from standard angles—front, back, sides, and corners. The AI guides framing and lighting.
AI Damage Analysis
Verdict Capture processes each photo on-device, identifying scratches, dents, cracks, paint chips, and body panel misalignment with sub-millimeter precision.
Baseline Comparison
New inspections are automatically compared against previous records. The AI highlights new damage, changes in severity, and repaired areas.
Verified Report
A tamper-proof inspection report is generated with annotated photos, damage severity scores, and repair cost estimates—ready for insurance or dispute resolution.
Key Features
Multi-Angle Damage Detection
Identifies scratches, dents, paint chips, cracks, and panel gaps from standard walk-around photos. No specialized cameras needed.
Guided Capture Flow
On-screen prompts walk users through a consistent photo sequence. AI validates each shot for framing, focus, and lighting before proceeding.
Historical Comparison
Automatically diff current inspection against the last baseline to isolate new damage and track repair history over time.
Severity Scoring
Each damage point receives a severity score based on size, depth, and location, enabling objective repair prioritization.
Insurance-Ready Reports
Generate structured reports with annotated images, timestamps, and metadata that meet insurance documentation requirements.
Fleet-Wide Analytics
Track damage trends across your entire fleet—identify high-risk vehicles, problem locations, and drivers who need coaching.
Measurable Impact
Reduction in unattributable damage claims
Average time for complete vehicle walk-around
Accuracy in identifying visible damage
Through early detection and accountability
